In an original musical by Cathy Lawrence, we see an awkward first date between a polymath computer coder, and a horse-loving Cantor, both dreaming of finding a way to make the world better..

With the help of two musical waiters who watch the date go from promising to dismal, our daters seek a spark that will lead to love.

Eeppi Ursin

BIO:

Eeppi Ursin is a New York-based singer-songwriter, jazz vocalist, composer, arranger, and pianist originally from Finland. Her versatile career spans a range of genres, from pop to jazz, and from a cappella to children's music.

Eeppi has released six solo albums: Epic Christmas, My Finnish Soul, Speechless, Jäljet, Yellow Page Girl, and Violet.

She has toured the world extensively with vocal ensemble Club For Five and various other artists. Additionally, Eeppi collaborates with theaters as a composer and arranger.

In 2022, she was named Performer of the Year by Finlandia Foundation National and toured across the US. In 2001, she won 1st prize at the Lady Summertime International Jazz Vocal Competition. Eeppi is also a recipient of the American Scandinavian Society Cultural Grant, along with many other accolades.

Paul Goodman

BIO:

Paul Goodman thanks Cathy Lawrence for inviting him to be in this project and is
glad to share the stage with this talented cast. Recent credits include Walls and
Windows at the Brooklyn Tavern Theater, Notorious RBG and Me workshop
through the Rose Theater and Jake in Evil Dead the Musical. He thanks his wife
Paige for her support. Follow @agoodmanforsinging. He is also the lead singer of
the Stamford Standards @thestamfordstandards.

Logan Sigler

BIO:

Logan Elizabeth Sigler is a Manhattan based actress and singer who is absolutely thrilled to be a part of "Sparks!". Originally hailing from Montana, Sigler moved to New York a few years ago and has since found immense joy in the community, culture, and grittiness of this beautiful island. Her favorite role was Maria in "The Sound of Music," and-- on top of Musical Theater-- Sigler loves to sing jazz, opera, and folk music. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Paul Green

PAUL

BIO:

Paul Green may have resting murderer face but he’s actually harmless. He has been performing comedy for over 15 years starting in 2008 as an improviser and actor. In 2014 Paul expanded his comedy career as he begin performing stand-up Comedy in Tempe, Arizona. In 2015 Paul followed his dreams and moved to hollywood to pursue comedy and acting in the big leagues. After 7 years in Los Angeles he performed at some of the most iconic comedy clubs in the world such as the Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory Hollywood, The Hollywood Improv and more. In 2025 Paul hopped coasts to New York where he performs comedy and theater.

Cathy Lawrence

MEET THE WRITER/PRODUCER

Cathy has a master's degree in Voice and Opera from Mannes College of Music ('87). She studied voice with Judith Nicosia, Margaret Hoswell, Pat Misslin, Steve Smith, and Jeanie Lovetri along with singing-acting studies with H. Wesley Balk throughout the mid to late 1980s. She was ordained as Cantor from the Academy for Jewish Religion ('03). She has Level III certification in Somatic Voicework, the Lovetri Method ('09). She was Faculty at the Mannes College of Music -The New School, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy. She was a soloist with Minnesota Opera (New Works Ensemble), Connecticut Grand Opera, Long Beach Opera, Virginia Symphony, the Amato Opera, and others, and with Gamelan Son of Lion, and Mothra, a nine woman rock band. She was the stage and musical director for Citywide Youth Opera in NYC and the Summer Arts Festival in Albany and directed and studied at The Barrow Group Theater in Manhattan. She also directed graduate and undergraduate students in the Opera Scenes Class at Mannes College of Music, taught singing-acting workshops at Mannes and Queens College in NYC and in the Vozplena school in Rio de Janiero and is an ordained cantor. Her late husband Stephen Lawrence was a well known composer, whose website you may view here: www.stephenlawrencemusic.com.
